Squirrel Control
Squirrels are classed as rodents and can cause considerable damage if they gain access to a property. They frequently raid bird feeders and will take eggs and young birds from nests and nest boxes. In a forestry situation they can strip the bark from young trees which can reduce the value of the timber.
Rabbit Control
Rodent Control
Rats are one of the most common pests. They carry diseases such as Weils disease, salmonella, listeriosis and toxoplasmosis. Because rodents teeth grow continually they like to gnaw to wear them down, very often chewing electric cables or plastic water pipes so causing the risk of fire or flood. A three visit treatment is usually sufficient to deal with a rodent problem, but it does depend on the size of the infestation.
Fox Control
Most of our fox control work is carried out to protect livestock ie: lambs, chickens. As the urban fox population grows there is more chance that they will come into contact with man, hence the horror stories in the papers. Town foxes often carry diseases such as mange, which can be passed to domestic pets.
